NAPA News - Week 9, Term 2, 2023
Dear NAPA Families,
We hope you all have had a great week! It is great to see the beautiful blue skies and sunshine, but if your child is feeling the cooler weather, we do have a few left-over sizes of NAPA sweatshirts and jackets for sale at reception.

Games Request
We have definitely seen an improvement in the use of our games. Thank you to those of you who have helped out by reminding children to put them away or helping them to pack up. Many of our inside games have been thrown out as lots of parts have gone missing making it impossible to play. If your child has outgrown a game at home that would be suitable for kids to play in-between classes (ones that don’t take too long to play or have too many parts to set up) we would love you to donate them. We need them to be in good condition as with so many students using them, they can easily fall apart. Thank you for your support in creating a home away from home.
Lost Property
Here’s a photo of our current amount of lost property. These will be rehomed at the end of term, so please check carefully if any of these items belong to your child.
NAPA at Gypsy
Congratulations to NAPA past graduates and present students who performed recently at Spotlight’s production of Gypsy. We are so proud of Dakota Chanel (playing the lead role of Baby June), Lacey Reeves, Kael Smith, Knox Smith, Kimberley Rigby, Jordan Rigby and Flynn Anderson.
Have a fabulous week everyone
Best wishes,
Lynn & NAPA Team
What a huge few weeks it has been at NAPA! Our competition season has certainly kept us busy, and we are incredibly proud of the way our students have represented the studio. Beyond the results, it has been wonderful to see the growth, teamwork, resilience and support for one another that comes from getting out on stage and putting all that hard work into practice. A massive congratulations to every student who performed, and a big thank you to our teachers and families for everything that goes on behind the scenes to make these weeks possible.
And there is certainly no slowing down just yet! We are now heading into an exciting few weeks of productions, with Bring It On and The Jungle Book Kids both getting ready to hit the stage. There is so much happening across the studio, and we can’t wait to see all of that rehearsal-room work come to life!
A little reminder as we head into production season: there will be some changes to our regular timetable during production weeks to accommodate rehearsals, performances and staff commitments. Please keep a close eye on your emails and studio correspondence, as we will communicate any class changes, cancellations or adjustments as early as possible.
It’s a busy time of year, but also one of our favourites with lots of opportunities to perform, learn, support our NAPA friends and celebrate what our students have been working towards. Thank you, as always, for staying on top of communication and for being part of our wonderful NAPA community.
Now, onto this week’s news!
