NAPA News - Week 7, Term 2, 2023
Dear NAPA Families,
We hope you have had a great week! At NAPA we continue to have great weeks as we feel blessed that we are making a difference in so many lives because we see on a daily basis, excitement, happy faces, enthusiasm, commitment, great work ethics, achievements, goal setting, love and friendship; all qualities exhibited during and in-between classes. We not only send out a big thank you to our teachers for creating the foundation for these emotions and behaviours to take place whilst continuing to inspire our students, but we also want to thank our parents and grandparents, who frequently help create our family atmosphere by helping at the canteen, running the barbecue, blinging costumes, monitoring playtime, helping with make-up and hair, playing games with the children, supporting them, and of course – attending performances.
Chookas Performance Teams!
After a great week last week of achieving such incredible results at the Evolution Dance Competition, our Performance Team will now display their talents and techniques at our very own Broadway Theatre on the 2nd and 4th of June. For those of you lucky enough to have purchased tickets for our sold out shows, get ready to be blown away by their fantastic performances. Chookas cherubs!
Uniforms
Please check these uniforms still waiting to be picked up. If your name is on this photo of leftovers, please pop in this week to collect them. For those of you who need more items, we did purchase some extra stock but not of all sizes as they are too expensive for us to do that, but we do have a bit of a variety if you want to check. Extra uniforms will need to be purchased from reception as no orders will be taken online.
Raffles
Thank you to the wonderful donors of the Raffle prizes for the upcoming Performance Team Concerts. And thank you to Kate McNee for approaching local businesses for these prizes. If you would like to donate raffle prizes for the upcoming shows, please contact Janneth.
Proud Poppy - $50 Voucher
Mudgeeraba Agricultural Show - 2 x Family Tickets
Pink Monkey Burleigh - $100 Voucher
Marvellous Minis
Our little ones have certainly settled in so well this year and working hard under the expert guidance of Miss Alana and her student helpers. Alana has sent me these adorable pics that will certainly make your heart sing.
Parking
Although we understand that parking is a nightmare on Stevenson Court, we need to reserve the few parking spaces we have for teachers as they need to come and go without parent cars blocking them or preventing them from being on time for classes if they have to go looking for parking spaces. We recently have had a few teachers coming into work but have had to back out as parents have taken up some of the car spaces. So please note that parking at NAPA is for staff only who are working at that time.
Have another fabulous week everyone.
Best wishes,
Lynn & the NAPA Team
Welcome back to another busy week at NAPA!
Firstly, apologies that there was no newsletter last week. Between moving house and focusing on our production of Bring It On, things were certainly a little hectic!
A huge congratulations to the entire Bring It On cast, crew and creative team on a fantastic season. We are incredibly proud of the hard work, energy and commitment that went into bringing this production to the stage. Thank you also to everyone who supported the show, whether backstage, front of house or in the audience cheering on our wonderful performers.
Our regular timetable is back to normal this week. However, there will be some timetable changes next week, so please ensure you carefully read the updated schedule that was emailed out. Staying on top of studio correspondence helps everything run smoothly during these busy production weeks.
Thank you, as always, for taking the time to read the newsletter and stay connected with everything happening at NAPA!
