NAPA News - Week 6, Term 2, 2024
Welcome back to another week! Not too much news this week but keep an eye on your emails in case your class has any specific information being sent out.
WINTER UNIFORMS
Due to popular demand, we have also added a puffer jacket to our winter range. We were also originally over quoted for our puffer vest, so these are now reduced. If you had already ordered one, you will receive a credit on your account. Due to this we have extended our order cut-off date to Wednesday 29th. Please ensure all orders are in by this date, so we can send it off on Thursday. These orders usually take 7-10 days to receive… exciting!
FEE REMINDER - MAKEUP LESSONS
A reminder to our families about some of our fee policies. As specified on our website, fees are calculated for a year’s tuition and then divided into 10 monthly payments from February to November each year. We have had a few requests recently for make-up lessons due to student absence. Unfortunately, this is not something we can offer, unless we have cancelled a class on our end. Most of our classes are currently at capacity and some also have a waitlist, so adding extra students in to do a make-up lesson is not possible.
We can sometimes offer for students to jump in and try a dance class that they may not already attend, but this is not possible for production classes (Broadway/Tread the Boards/Film & TV). This is also why we do not charge a rehearsal fee for our production classes; despite the numerous extended classes and extra rehearsals the children attend. This has been our procedure for many years, and we find it is what works best for everyone, as adding rehearsal fees would bring costs up too much for some families. Thanks to everyone for your understanding around this.
HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL UPDATE
I popped into a rehearsal on Thursday and the cast all looked like they were having a blast! The show is coming together nicely, and everything is looking great. High energy dance routines, beautiful vocals and some excellent characters forming. Well done, team!
It’s PJ WEEK!
Students may dress in their pjs this week, but dancers please ensure you have your dance clothes underneath so you can remove your pjs if necessary.
PERFORMANCE TEAM CONCERT TICKET REMINDER
If you missed out on tickets to our Performance Team Concert, please ensure you are posting in the PT Facebook page, as I do not have any more reserved seats available. If I have any pop up I will check the Facebook page for who is still looking for tickets.
That’s all for this week. Have a great week everyone!

As we head into another busy few weeks at NAPA, we just wanted to take a moment to check in with our wonderful NAPA families.
With productions, classes, rehearsals, events and plenty happening behind the scenes, there is always a lot going on! We know our families have busy lives too, so we really appreciate you taking the time to read our newsletter and stay connected with everything happening across NAPA.
A gentle reminder to please keep an eye on your emails, parent portal and other NAPA correspondence. There are often important dates, reminders, opportunities and information shared throughout the term, and staying on top of these communications helps everything run as smoothly as possible for everyone.
As always, thank you for your continued support of NAPA and, most importantly, for supporting your young performers. We are incredibly proud of what our students are achieving and love being able to share their successes, experiences and milestones with you.
So, grab a cuppa and have a read through this week's newsletter … there is plenty to celebrate!
