NAPA News - Week 10, Term 4, 2024
Wow! Our final week of term is here, and what a year it’s been! We could not be prouder of everything the children have achieved this year both at the studio and on stage. The growth is what we are always proudest of and seeing them kick goals throughout the year has made all of the NAPA teachers so proud.
Beyond the pages dance concert
Our Dance Concert was a massive success, and we could not have done it without the support of our dance teachers. From choreography to assisting dancers with quick changes, they really have done it all. We have an amazing team, and I am so grateful for all they do for our dancers. Well done to every cherub who performed. You were all fantastic!
congratulations dakota! ✨
We got Annie! Another massive success for one of our NAPA cherubs, as Dakota Chanel has been cast as one of the four Annie’s in the upcoming production playing at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre. Dakota will star alongside Anthony Warlow and other amazing Australian talent in the ever-popular Broadway musical. Well done cherub. All your hard work has paid off and we couldn’t be happier for you.
Summer School auditions closed
Our very own production of Annie will hit the stage in January. Auditions have now closed but if you missed the deadline, please email me to discuss options.
2025 TIMETABLE AND FEE STRUCTURE
We are aiming to have this out by the end of the week and 2025 enrolments will open also. Keep your eye out for an email with our timetable and fee structure coming your way soon!
MASSIVE THANK YOU TO EDEN PHOTOBOOTHS

Welcome to Week 4 of Term 3!
This weekend we saw our Performance Team students take to the stage and what a show it was! The kids all did so well, with many of our seniors being in every second number. They took every quick change in their stride and our backstage helpers later commented on how well they all did backstage. Not only making their quick changes, but also helping and supporting their team mates through theirs. What a joy to receive this feedback from our helpers. We are so proud of you all.
This week we begin GCE groups with our College choir and then move to The Star to begin dance groups. Rehearsals for all of our plays and musicals are well underway, so make sure you are staying on top of all correspondence, as it is a busy few weeks ahead!
Wishing everyone a fantastic week ahead!
Welcome to Week 2 of Term 3!
What an incredible start to the term it has been! In just one week, we've celebrated our first dance competition of the season and wrapped up our powerful production of Jagged Little Pill. I couldn't be prouder of our students, staff, volunteers, and families, who have all contributed to such a successful and memorable start to the term.
As exciting as these milestones have been, they're only the beginning! Term 3 is always one of our busiest, with dance competitions, productions, examinations, performances, special events, and plenty of exciting opportunities for our students to learn and grow. While the calendar can seem full, it's these experiences that help shape our students into confident, resilient, and well-rounded performers.
With so much happening, I'd encourage all families to regularly check the NAPA Calendar to ensure you're up to date with important dates throughout Terms 3 and 4. It's also important to keep an eye on your emails and any communication from your teachers regarding extra rehearsals, timetable adjustments, costume requirements, or performance information.
Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support. It takes a wonderful community to make everything we do possible, and we're so grateful to have such committed families alongside us.
Wishing everyone a fantastic week ahead. Let's keep the momentum going!
As Week 9 comes to an end, we head into our final week of Term 2. The year is well and truly flying by, which is a reminder for us all to take each day as it comes and enjoy the journey we are on together. Little improvements being made each day, goals being achieved, challenges being overcome, and confidence growing are often the moments that matter most. While it can be easy to focus on the destination, it is the consistent effort, resilience, and commitment shown along the way that truly shape our students into the artists and people they are becoming.
As we move towards the end of another busy and rewarding term, I encourage our students and families to take a moment to reflect on how far they have come. Every class attended, every rehearsal completed, every new skill learned, and every obstacle faced has contributed to their growth. We are incredibly proud of the dedication our students continue to show and look forward to finishing the term strongly together.
A reminder to check in with the NAPA calendar to ensure you are on top of dates for term 3 and 4 moving forward. Also double check any correspondence from teachers regarding extra rehearsals or changes to class times.
Have a wonderful week all!
Week 8 is done and we are inching towards those school holidays. Before then we still have lots to achieve so keep those vitamins up, stay dry and take care of yourselves. There is still a lot of illness about, so please keep your child home if they are contagious, but be sure to fill in the absentee section in your parent portal.
Due to popular demand we have released uniforms for sale again, along with launching some brand new items. The website is live for orders and I will update with images once I receive the photos from our recent photo shoot. See below for more information.
Have a wonderful week all!
Week 7! Apologies for the missing newsletter last week. There wasn’t any pressing news and the weeks are going by so fast I decided to leave it for a week.
In this week’s newsletter we have our Jagged Little Pill cast announcement, a link to our Antigone tickets, our AGM notice and some important Wellbeing and Performance Tips.
There is a lot of sickness going around, so stay warm, stay hydrated and stay well.
Have a wonderful week!
Week 5 is here which marks our term 2 halfway mark! You may notice it is a little busier at the studio in the evenings as our adult theatre company has begun rehearsals for Jagged Little Pill. This will be a fun one for the parents to come and see with a soundtrack by Alanis Morissette. Our cast will be announced soon and tickets will go on sale at the same time, so keep your eyes on our socials!
This term we have our first youth production with ‘Antigone’ hitting the stage at the end of June. Tickets for this production will go on sale next week.
Have a wonderful week!
Week 4 and the dreaded wet weather returns. I thought we had come out the other side, but alas!
A big thank you this week to everyone who reads the newsletter. It is where we communicate all our important information, and I hope that everyone is continuing to read the Wellbeing and Performance Tips to their children too. This weeks Wellbeing section is aimed mostly at our teenagers, but if you’re reading it to your young ones, there are still important messages included for them.
Have a great week everyone, and stay dry!
Welcome to Week 5 of Term 3!
This weekend we saw our Performance Team perform at their first Gold Coast Eisteddfod event in choirs and dance groups. We are so proud of everyone and how they performed, on and off the stage.
This week we have Pre-senior Tread the Boards class hitting the stage with their play So Much To Tell You. This is a deeply moving play and the cherubs are doing such an amazing job with it. If you haven’t booked yet, get in quick!
Wishing everyone a fantastic week ahead!
