Welcome back to Week 3. Everyone seems to be settling into their classes beautifully and the teachers are all giving me great feedback on how everyone is going. It’s been such a lovely vice around the studio, and I’ve loved seeing how welcoming our current students have been of our new students. Well done cherubs!

Week 1 done! It was an amazing week and we loved meeting all of our new families and seeing lots of happy smiling faces around the studio!

Welcome back to our returning NAPA families and hello to our new families! We are so excited for an amazing year of learning, growth, and opportunities. It is a chock-full year, and we can’t wait to see all our students continue to flourish, doing what they love. This year we will have 5 youth musicals, 2 youth plays, 2 NAPA Ensemble musicals, 2 NAPA Ensemble plays, 3 dance concerts and our Performance Teams will attend 2 dance competitions. On top of this we will be looking for other performance opportunities for our students, so they can experience some real-world experience in a non-competitive environment, where the focus is on performance experience over ranking.

Wow! Our final week of term is here, and what a year it’s been! We could not be prouder of everything the children have achieved this year both at the studio and on stage. The growth is what we are always proudest of and seeing them kick goals throughout the year has made all of the NAPA teachers so proud.

We are officially half way through Term 4. Hasn’t this year just flown by! There is a lot to celebrate this week with the completion of Minefields and Miniskirts and our Musical Theatre and Ballet Exam results arriving, as well as a lot of information on other events.

IT’S SPOOKY SEASON! Happy ‘Halloween week’ to those who celebrate. This year we will be celebrating by having a dress up competition!

End of Term 3 is upon us! That means it’s time for our Broadway Tweens to take to the stage in The Wizard of Oz. Good luck cherubs!

Wow, I can’t believe it’s already September and Term 3 is nearly complete! Time flies when you’re having fun. Not too much news this week, but some exciting announcements!

Welcome back for another busy week! Picnic at Hanging Rock finished up and we now begin to prepare for The Wizard of Oz. There is a lot of information being sent out to our production classes. Make sure you stay on top of emails, so you don’t miss out on any information.

Welcome back NAPA Family. Week 2 at Gold Coast Eisteddfod Dance Groups has concluded, and our final dance comp for the year is officially done. Our Senior Performance Teams had great success in some very competitive sections. The feedback from the judge was excellent and confirmed that our students are getting the best training and have amazing teachers helping them to fulfil their dreams.

Welcome back NAPA Family. Week 1 at Gold Coast Eisteddfod Groups has concluded, and we are so proud. Our Performance Team had great successes, but the most important thing is that every time they attend another comp or performance, they learn another lesson. Whether that be helping a student improve their stage confidence, learning to do their own make-up, implementing notes or feedback given during class, or just improving on the last performance! We are super proud of the high quality of our NAPA groups, the discipline our students show on and off stage, and their love of dance and passion for performing.

August is here! Which means our busiest month has begun. This weekend saw our Pre-Senior Acting class hit the stage with ‘The Con’, and our 12’s Small Group Team performed at The Flow City Convention at Miami Marketta. The next two weeks will be filled with Gold Coast Eisteddfod Group sections and then finally we will see our Senior Tread the Boards class in the Australian Classic ‘Picnic at Hanging Rock’. What a busy time!

Another week of success! Students continued to achieve great results at Gold Coast Eisteddfod solos, our Vocal Concert was a hit and our Pre-senior actors are preparing for their performance of ‘The Con’.

Welcome back to another busy week! Gold Coast Eisteddfod has begun and our students are already having massive success. We are so proud seeing all of the results coming through! Keep up the great work cherubs.

We are well under way for term 3! This past weekend our Broadway Bound Extension class performed Rock of Ages and were met with several standing ovations! The kids have had the best time working on this show and it brought me so much joy to see them smashing it every night. When we announced that we were doing a ‘rock’ musical the kids were unsure at first but seeing them step outside their comfort zone and embrace the challenge was just amazing. A great lesson in never shying away from a challenge and instead using the experience to grow into an even more versatile performer. We are SO proud of you all.
