NAPA News - Week 7, Term 3, 2024

Welcome back for another busy week! Picnic at Hanging Rock finished up and we now begin to prepare for The Wizard of Oz. There is a lot of information being sent out to our production classes. Make sure you stay on top of emails, so you don’t miss out on any information.

Picnic at hanging rock

Congratulations to Miss Cilla and her Senior Tread the Boards class. This classic story was performed so well by our senior actors, under the guidance of our awesome Miss Cilla. Some very clever moments and beautifully imagery that kept the audience intrigued. Well done team!

WIZARD OF OZ

Miss Laura will be sending out another very important email with lots of information, so please keep your eye out for this. T-shirt orders are now closed, so please ensure payment is made to Sarah before Saturday at the latest. Tickets to all performances are nearly sold out, with just a few individual seats remaining. If you no longer need any tickets purchased, please post in the P&F Facebook group to sell onto anyone who is looking for extras.

NAPA COLLEGE 2025 ENROLMENTS NOW OPEN

Applications to join NAPA College in 2025 are now open. Minimal places are offered each year, to ensure our students are getting the attention and training needed to support them in the goals of a career in the industry. Our NAPA College program has a proven success rate with our students moving onto the next level of training at prestigious universities and some moving straight into the industry. Students study a Certificate IV in Musical Theatre while completing their schooling via distance education. Want to learn more? Check out our website for more information.

LOCREDO DANCE COMPANY

Three of our junior dance students have been lucky enough to work with Loredo Malcolm for the past 10 weeks on his production of ‘ONE’ which they will perform tonight. Our amazing Miss Bella is also part of the pro program and will perform alongside Loredo and our young dancers, Kael Smith, Dakota Chanel and Evie Wherritt. Chookas all!

We were lucky enough to have Loredo in for a workshop with our Performance Team students last week. What a great experience for our dancers.

CONGRATULATIONS MISS MANDY

Miss Mandy’s big shave was a hit! We are so blessed to have such inspirational teachers at NAPA, and we couldn’t be prouder of you Miss Mandy. Over $13,000 raised for the Leukemia Foundation, which will help so many families in need. What a great cause!
