NAPA News - Week 4, Term 4, 2024

Welcome back to another week of rehearsals, performances, and exams! No rest for the wicked, so they say!

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL JR

Well done to our Broadway Bound class and their teachers. All your hard work showed in each and every performance and you should all be so proud. Massive thank you to our teachers and helpers. It takes a lot of support to be able to stage productions of this calibre and we couldn’t do it without your support.

To the parents and students who helped backstage, front of house, on the bar or selling raffle tickets - thank you so much. We couldn’t do it without you! We’d love to see some more friendly faces on the bar or helping FOH. If you can assist, make sure you check in our P&F Facebook group and keep an eye out for the helper call outs for each production.

MINEFIELDS AND MINISKIRTS

Our 3rd year College students will be performing Minefields and Miniskirts on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 October and tickets are now on sale. Please be advised that this production does have adult themes, coarse language, and references to the Vietnam war.

BALLET EXAMS

Ballet exams are now complete and I’m sure all our ballet students (and teachers) have breathed a big sigh of relief! So much work and preparation go into exams, and you should all be so proud of yourselves. Thank you, Miss Alana and Miss Tahnee, for being such wonderful, supportive ballet teachers and ensuring our dancers are prepared for exams.

MUSICAL THEATRE EXAMS

Next up are our Musical Theatre exams. These will be held at the studio on Thursday 24th of October and will go right up until classes start. Please be mindful if you arrive early for classes as we will be in the theatre until 4pm. Good luck to our students who are sitting these exams. We know you will be amazing!

If you are interested in your child participating in exams for 2025 keep an eye out when our 2025 registrations go live for more information on how to register.

CONGRATULATIONS NARRATORS!

Well done to everyone who auditioned for a spot as a ‘narrator’ in our end of year dance concert. Everyone did a fabulous job, and the cherubs who have been successful are:
