NAPA News - Week 7, Term 2, 2024

Welcome to another week. I can’t believe there are only 3 weeks left of term! How time flies. Don’t forget, we run our classes via the public school terms and you can find all of our dates for the year on our calendar.

KIM and KIMBERLEY

There has been a little bit of confusion recently around “the Kims”. For those who are new to NAPA, I am Kim Reynolds, the Company Director. I also teach our NAPA College students, Broadway Bound Extension class, Opens Musical Theatre Team and our Trinity Musical Theatre Exam students. Kimberley Janssen is our Office Manager, and the face you will see at reception each day. Kimberley is here to help with all your admin, enrolment, fee queries, and general questions. She is also the main point of contact for absenteeism etc. and is our P&F treasurer. You can contact Kimberley here:

Congratulations to our students who competed at various competitions over the past few weeks. We love seeing you shine! A big “chookas” to all those who are competing at the BPAC scholarships this week. We can’t wait to hear all about it.

SUMMER SCHOOL - APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN!

We are so excited to announce that our Summer School program is back! January 2025 will see our Summer School combining with our adult theatre company (NAPA Ensemble) to stage the family favourite Annie. Auditions will be held in December for all students aged 5-18, and enrolments are NOW LIVE! All those who apply will be accepted into the program, however auditions will take place to determine roles and ensemble groups. See the full list of roles and more information on the Summer School page.

FAREWELL MISS JANE

We must say a fond farewell to our beloved Miss Jane, who teaches our Pre-Senior ‘Tread the Boards’ class. We are so grateful for all your work with our students over the years and look forward to seeing you at shows in the future. We welcome our NAPA College Acting tutor Miss Amy Anderson on board to take over the class. The cherubs are in excellent hands with Miss Amy, and we can’t wait to see what they achieve this year!
