NAPA News - Week 6, Term 2, 2023

Dear NAPA Families,

This is a very short newsletter this week but contains great news!

Congratulations Performance Teams

We are so proud of our students and teachers for the great choreography, performances, and results from our NAPA Performance Teams. We have achieved 11 x 1st places, 2 x 2nd places and 2 x 3rd places. On top of these fantastic results, our teachers received feedback that our students exhibited great behaviour and professionalism backstage. What an awesome start to not only our first competition of the year but also the first time we have performed at Evolution Dance Competition. Thank you also to our NAPA Parents for all the support and assistance you give to the teams.

Cast Announcement of Fairy Tale Misfits

Congratulations to the cast of Pre-Senior Tread the Boards’ Fairy Tale Misfits. We can’t wait to see you all shine on stage!

Great Response to Ticket Sales

Wow we were just about sold out after 24 hours of announcing the sale of tickets for Cats and the Performance Team concert. Thank you NAPA families, for your great support. For those wanting to snap up the last of the remaining tickets, you will want to get in quick.

Book Borrowing

In the games’ room we have a large number of books for children to read. Some are too long for them to read in the time they have here. We are happy for any child wishing to borrow a book, to take it home and bring it back when they have finished. This is a great way to encourage reading. You don’t need to let us know when you are taking them home, we are family, just help yourselves.

Reminders

  • There are still uniforms that have been ordered still waiting for pick up at reception. Please ensure you pick them up this week as some have been here a month.

  • Lost property has now been rehomed. Sadly, we had little response to checking the stand in reception.

  • Putting games away has seen little improvement. We will give it one more week in case parents have forgotten to speak to their child. Next Saturday will be the decision  making day regarding removing the games.

  • If your child’s teacher has given you a password to get onto our online portal, it means there is material there that they need to practice for upcoming performances. Please ensure your child sets some time each week for practice.

Have a great week everyone!

Cheers,
Lynn & the NAPA Team
