NAPA News - Week 5, Term 3, 2024

Welcome back NAPA Family. Week 1 at Gold Coast Eisteddfod Groups has concluded, and we are so proud. Our Performance Team had great successes, but the most important thing is that every time they attend another comp or performance, they learn another lesson. Whether that be helping a student improve their stage confidence, learning to do their own make-up, implementing notes or feedback given during class, or just improving on the last performance! We are super proud of the high quality of our NAPA groups, the discipline our students show on and off stage, and their love of dance and passion for performing.

Socks are back in stock

Our NAPA socks are back in stock. See Kimberley at reception for yours. Get them quick, before they sell out again! While you’re there, don’t forget to pick up your NAPA jibbit. All profits go to our NAPA P&F fundraising to help create more wonderful opportunities for our cherubs.

Drop off and Pickup

A reminder that students should not be dropped off any earlier than 15 minutes before their class. This is a health and safety issue and needs to be followed please.

WIZARD OF OZ - IMPORTANT NOTE

Miss Laura recently sent out an important email regarding costumes. If you did not receive it, please ensure you let us know so that we can forward it on to you.

A MESSAGE FROM MISS MANDY

Hi NAPA fam!

I'm excited to let you know that on Saturday August 24th I am going to be shaving my head for The World's Greatest Shave to raise funds for The Leukaemia Foundation.

Did you know that 53 Australians are diagnosed with Leukaemia EVERY DAY!!?? There is no way to screen for blood cancer or protect yourself against it.

I have set a goal of raising $10K to support The Leukaemia Foundation. If you are in the position to donate you can head to my donation page here....

https://www.worldsgreatestshave.com/fundraisers/mandymorrison/2024

Of course I couldn't think of a better place to host 'the shave' than our very own NAPA! If you are free on the day I would love to see as many of you there as possible

SATURDAY 24th AUGUST from 4PM

- food truck
- bar open (thanks P&F!)
- hair colouring fundraiser for the kids and big kids (with coloured hair spray)
- PLUS bid in the auction for your chance to shave off the first bit of my hair!

Hope to see you there & thank you for the support!

BIG LOVE!

Miss Mandy x

Have a FABULOUS week ALL!
