WINTER IS COMING

Another busy week is ready to begin! The weather has certainly changed and it’s getting cooler at night, so it’s time to order those winter uniforms! Our winter range has been secured and we are excited to have some new items added to our selection for 2024. We have sourced quality items, made to last, and keep our cherubs nice and warm.

WINTER UNIFORM RANGE

Our winter range, as well as our NAPA T-shirts are now available to order through your parent portal. If you click on the “STORE” tab, you can see our new range. This includes sweatshirts, trackpants and puffer vests. We also have some new NAPA socks in the works, and these should be available to purchase soon.

PARENT ACCESS

It has come to our attention that parents have been accessing the back of the dance studios and watching classes through the back door. Please note that this is a no access area and is out of bounds. For various reasons our WHS regulations stipulate that only authorised personnel are to access that area. Thank you for your cooperation with this matter.

MORE STUDENT SUCCESS

Our NAPA cherub Lois has recently been filming a kids’ TV series with Channel 9 (to be aired on 9GO!) on which she is a presenter. She has been a natural in front of the camera and we are so proud of her hard work and commitment to everything she does.

COSTUME WORKING BEE

Recently I have had a lot of kind offers to help with costumes. This Saturday, 11 May, we will be having a working bee at NAPA to finish off our preparations for our first comp and would love some extra helpers. The jobs that need doing are blinging and hand stitching appliques onto leotards, so if that sounds like something you can manage, please come on down!

THIS WEEK IS ‘DO IT FOR DOLLY DAY/WEEK’ @ NAPA

This week at NAPA we are calling on our community to help make Dolly’s dream of a kinder and safer world for Australia’s kids and communities a reality.

GO BLUE

Wear something blue, Dolly's favourite colour: Blue socks, scrunchie, earrings - anything you can think of!

DONATE

Donate a gold coin to help deliver bullying prevention and online safety programs across Australia. A bucket will be placed in reception for your contribution.

ABOUT DOLLY’S DREAM

Dolly’s Dream is committed to changing the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families.

There are posters around NAPA with information and some fun worksheets for the kids to get involved in.

Visit dollysdream.org.au to find out more.

MOTHER’S DAY RAFFLE

Don’t forget to pick up your Mother’s Day Raffle tickets from reception. All tickets sold or unsold will need to be returned to reception by no later than Friday 10 May. The raffle will be drawn on Saturday 11 May at NAPA.

Tickets prices:

  • 1 ticket for $3

  • 5 tickets for $10

Raffle prizes include:

  • 2 x $100 precinct brewery vouchers
