NAPA News - Week 9, Term 1, 2024
Dear NAPA Families,
WOW this is my last newsletter, it’s hard to believe! This is also the last newsletter for the term, so Kim will be taking on this task next term. I am feeling very sad to say goodbye to you all, but I will always be part of the NAPA family and support NAPA in any way I can. I look forward to attending as many of our shows as possible to continue to see our students’ development throughout their training here at NAPA and seeing where this journey takes them. Laurie and I wish to thank you all for the continued beautiful messages and gifts that have been sent to us since our retirement announcement, we feel very blessed to have you in our lives. A special thank you goes out to all the parents and teachers who have volunteered to do a variety of tasks to support NAPA over the years, such as helping backstage, taking a role on the P&F, manning the bar, donating or running the raffles, driving props to competitions, helping with costumes and sets… the list goes on. Your support has provided greater opportunities for our students. Kim will appreciate your continued support. Wishing you all a great experience at NAPA and happy days ahead. Embrace the journey!

P&F Executive Committee Announcement
As we only had four nominations for our P&F committee, so we are happy to be able to announce our Executive Committee:
President – Nicholas Fogarty
Vice President – Kate McNee
Treasurer – Kimberley Janssen
Secretary – Sarah Longhurst
We greatly appreciate their acceptance of these roles as our P&F plays a vital role in providing extra resources and opportunities for our students that are not covered by fees.
A big thank you goes out to our past Executive Committee who took on these roles for quite a few years. Thank you, Danielle Sutherland, Kimberley Janssen, Janneth Zarate Beltran, and Trina Power, for your dedication and hard work.
Monday, 25 March at 5pm is the AGM so any parent is welcome. Sub-committees will be formed at this meeting if you are keen to be part of these.
Lost Property
Here is a photo of lost property items. These will be rehomed at the end of term so please pop in and pick any items you can see that belongs to your child. If you are unable to come in and can see an item that is yours, please contact us and we will put it aside for you.
Have a wonderful Easter holiday everyone! First day back of classes in term 2 is Monday 15th April. Easter picture?
To say goodbye, it seems appropriate to use the lyrics from a musical (recently performed by a few of our students and directed by our teacher David) - the Farewell song in the Sound of Music.
So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, goodbye,
I leave and heave a sigh and say goodbye. Goodbye………….!
Love and happiness to you all
