Q & A WITH COURTNEY MONSMA

Informative and Inspirational was the most common feedback we got from our audience, which was a perfect description of the responses Courtney gave from our cherubs’ questions. It was fabulous to have Courtney back on our stage, to discuss her career, reveal some top secrets about the technical wonders of Frozen, provide some excellent audition and performance tips, and to share what she got from being at NAPA where she trained in all facets of dance, acting and singing from the age of 9 until her graduation. We were very proud of our students who had obviously thought through their questions carefully as they generated some very informative and inspirational answers. Courtney spent time afterwards having photos taken and signing Frozen programs and her CD In the Light. We greatly appreciate Courtney taking time out from her busy schedule. For those of you who missed purchasing her CD, we are selling it this week from reception if you would like to grab a copy.

We have a sold-out performance for our Solo Concert on May 21, 2022 7:30 PM

INTERMEDIATE TREAD THE BOARDS PLAY CHANGE

After much deliberation, we have decided to change the play we had planned for this group. It had not been fully cast and the students were not as engaged with the content as they thought they would from its description. A new teacher and a new play is a game changer. Jane and I spent lots of time on Sunday reading a few scripts and we have decided on "So You Wanna Be a Cheerleader." This is a fun comedy with lots of great character work.

Wishing you all a fabulous week. Please stay safe on the roads. Let’s hope for a bit of sunshine for a change.

Lynn & Team
