NAPA News - Week 7, Term 1, 2021
Dear NAPA Families,
Another busy week has just flown by as we head towards the end of term. Eisteddfods, auditions and learning new skills has kept our cherubs immersed in what they love doing this week. We are continuing to get fantastic feedback from parents – thank you; we are thrilled that you are happy with what and how we are providing training for your child. If ever you have any concerns or confused about how we operate, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are still having new students, so a big WELCOME to our new families this week.

UNIFORMS

DANCE FOR SICK KIDS
Just a reminder for our dance students to register to dance for this wonderful cause. Details were provided in last week’s newsletter. Here is the link again https://www.danceforsickkids.com/join/napa
PARENT HELPERS NEEDED
Our Saturday Barbecue is a huge hit with our kids and family members but it is a mammoth task to get them cooked and distributed in the window of time between classes. Laurie leaves reception to do the barbecue and a couple of our wonderful mums regularly help at the canteen on Saturday mornings, but it is hard for them to be there every week and when the sausages are being sold we need more helpers. If you happen to be there waiting for your child, we would love you to help. The times are from 10.00 -10.45 and again to sell them from the canteen at 12.30 to 12.45. If you can either cook the sausages or help serve them, we would greatly appreciate it. If we have someone to cook, then Laurie can be back in reception for those people who need him for enquiries. If you can help could you please contact Laurie [email protected]
Please note that money raised from the canteen and sausage sizzle goes towards extra resources for our kids.
ABSENTEEISM
There seems to be a lot of students away these past two weeks. We understand that some things cannot be avoided but where possible please schedule things around classes. Every lesson counts; it is hard to prepare students for competitions and shows when they are missing instructions, choreography and aspects of their training. However, if your child is sick then please don’t send them for the safety of all our students and teachers.
BRAG BOARD
Thank you to those parents who have sent in their child’s achievements using our link. The photo and information you have sent has been placed on our Brag Board in the foyer and is outlined on our Website on the Achievements page. We want our students to feel proud of their accomplishments and know that their NAPA family is also proud of them.
