NAPA Needs New Microphones
For several years now we have been hiring the microphones and headsets we need to perform our end of year shows. This has not only been a very costly exercise, about $1,000 per show, but we have also had major issues with the hire mikes breaking down or not working as we wish.
During 2012 we will be fund raising to enable us to purchase new microphones and we are asking for your help. Although N.A.P.A. is a business we operate along the lines of a community theatre. We charge the minimum amount we are able for our fees and assist parents by supplying most if not all of the costumes needed for our productions. By the time we pay for a shows Rights, hire a venue and production costs, most shows don’t even break even.
Our goal this year is $10,000 to purchase the microphones. We are looking for any suggestions for fund raising ideas, for corporate sponsorship, ( If you own a business and would be willing to sponsor us in return for advertising rights in all of our programs etc), it would be greatly appreciated.
