WHAT DO THE FEES INCLUDE?
Our fees include: tuition from highly qualified teachers with extensive and varied performance backgrounds, extra rehearsals, administration costs, insurance, reprographics, rehearsal CDs and equipment used.
This applies to all classes except for Performance Team and exams where additional fees may be required (see Class and Eisteddfod Team Guidelines)
How are the fees calculated?
Fees are based on a full year’s tuition then divided into 4 equal instalments, rather than being calculated on a weekly basis. This is far simpler and easier with the varied demands throughout the year, such as extended rehearsal and performance times, and varying term lengths.
WHEN ARE FEES DUE?
Fees must be paid by week 4 of each term. Failure to pay will result in students being withdrawn from classes until the fees have been paid. This ruling will be strictly enforced. A late fee will apply after 4 weeks from invoice, if fees are not paid.
HOW ARE FEES PAYABLE?
Fees can be paid by Cheque, EFT or Direct Deposit. Details for Direct Deposit are as follows:
Account name: National Academy of Performing Arts
Please ensure you reference your deposit with your child’s name and invoice number. Invoices will be given out each term.
WHAT IF I'M UNABLE TO PAY MY FEES ON TIME?
If you are experiencing financial difficulty please discuss this with our staff and a payment plan can be worked out for you. However, failure to keep to the agreed plan will result in students being withdrawn from their class until fees are paid.
DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS?
WHAT ABOUT COSTUME FEES?
Speciality costumes for productions are factored into production costs and are usually covered by ticket sales.
There is usually a $10 - $30 hire fee of any costumes provided by NAPA to cover laundering and repairs.
Performance Team costume hire fees vary depending on the routine but are generally around $10 - $15 per costume. In 2017 most costumes will need to be purchased.
