LYNN DYER

 (Dip. Teaching; B Ed; Cert IV Assessment and Training)

Director, Musical Theatre and Acting Teacher. Lynn is vastly experienced in the entertainment industry and as a drama teacher. She has worked professionally as an actor, director and singer for many years before teaching full time. Lynn has been Head of the Arts at high school for many years and established GCCT, a tertiary training institution. She has taught Acting at TAFE and is renowned for her work at Spotlight Theatre, where she also successfully ran the Youth Theatre for 15 years building its numbers and reputation beyond expectations. Her innovative ideas, success of her students, the quality of her productions and her student performances overseas and interstate, have earned Lynn an outstanding reputation. Many of Lynn’s past students are now in the entertainment industry. Lynn’s experience and knowledge molds the content of our teaching to meet the demands of the industry. 

Lynn oversees our Acting Programs and teaches our NAPA College students, the Junior ‘Tread the Boards’ class and our ‘Broadway Kids’ and ‘Broadway Babies’ classes.

KIM REYNOLDS

Director and Choreographer, Kim was a professional dancer who has performed in, choreographed and directed numerous local productions. Kim worked professionally in the industry for 10 years as a dancer and performer working with the likes of Rhonda Burchmore, Kate Cebrano and Ian Stenlake. She has an excellent reputation on the Gold Coast for her original choreography and directing style, which has won her numerous awards at the GCA Theatre Awards. In 2013 Kim was awarded the highest honor, The Platinum Palm Award for her outstanding contribution to the Gold Coast Theatre Community. In 2018 she directed ‘Rock of Ages’ and choreographed ‘Spring Awakening’ and ‘Tarzan’ for NAPA Ensemble’s premier season. Kim has a passion for all aspects of performing arts and can't wait to offer her students even more opportunities to develop their skills in 2019.

Kim oversees our NAPA Dance and Performance Team Program and teaches our NAPA College students, the under 8’s Performance Team, our Elite Acrobatics Teams, all Song & Dance/Musical Theatre Teams, the ‘Broadway Bound’ Extension class and our ‘Broadway Kids’ and ‘Broadway Babies’ classes.
